Max Osterweis first conceived of SUNO in 2008 after witnessing post-election violence in Kenya. Utilizing the vast collection of Kenyan Kangas, Max joined forces with Erin Beatty to launch a high-end collection with a conscience. SUNO is a premium women's apparel line that utilizes the local talent of Kenya, India, Peru and New York to create a collection of unique prints, textures and embroideries. SUNO is available at more than 70 retailers worldwide, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-a-Porter, Opening Ceremony, Ikram, The Webster and Harvey Nichols.
