Daetrius Craig (born January 30, 1994), aka DAEtrius, is an American Hip-Hop recording artist and songwriter from Atlanta, GA. Honing his skills since the young age of 11 while being mentored by Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, and Nicki Minaj, this polished Atlanta artist is primed and positioned to make a major impact on the music scene. His innovative approach caught the attention of famed Hot 97 DJ Peter Rosenberg, and popular rappers Wiz Khalifa and Trinidad James. Since then, DAEtrius has been on a tear releasing the critically acclaimed The EBRO Demo EP in response to Ebro Darden’s criticism that “Atlanta artists need to step their bars up”, and most recently dropping his new single “ShowOut” in September. With limited promotion, “ShowOut” amassed 900,000+ streams on Spotify and is featured on their “Most Necessary” and “Fire Emoji: Best of 2016” playlists. Just as the 22-year-old spitter proved on The EBRO Demo, DAEtrius has the ability to create Hip Hop with soul and substance. DAEtrius's talent and work ethic continues to pay off as he was named a the #1 artist on the “2017 Rapper on the Rise” by VIBE Magazine, covered by RevoltTV, 2DopeBoyz, and HipHopDX (amongst other reputable sites) and has garnered him billing on the shows of major artists such as Rick Ross, Young Thug and Young Dolph.
